Rain Expected Across Bangladesh with Gusty Winds

Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am. “Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the day and night temperature may fall by 1-2 degree Celsius over the country, as indicated in the bulletin. The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 35.2 degree Celsius in Nikli of Kishoreganj, while today’s minimum temperature was 24.4 degree Celsius in the same location.



Residents in the capital can expect the sun to set at 6:29 pm today and rise at 5:35 am tomorrow, as per the forecast.
