Chattogram:Light to moderate rain and thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are forecasted in parts of Bangladesh, particularly in the Chattogram division. This weather change is attributed to a trough of low pressure over the North Bay.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas within the next 24 hours. This development may influence weather conditions across parts of the country.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department's 120-hour forecast, effective from 900 am on October 13, predicts rainfall in several locations within the Chattogram division and in one or two places in the Khulna, Barishal, and Sylhet divisions. Elsewhere in the country, the weather may remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged throughout the day and night during the forecast period. Today, the minimum temperature was recorded at 19.3°C in Tetulia, while the maximum temperature reached 36.1°C in Sandwip. In Dhaka, the sun is set to set at 535 pm on Tuesday, with sunrise expected at 555 am on Wednesday.
