Railway Ministry Holds Doa Mahfil for Late Khaleda Zia

Dhaka: The Railway Ministry today organized a discussion meeting in memory of former three-time Prime Minister and BNP chairperson, Begum Khaleda Zia, who passed away on December 30. Following the discussion, ministry officials and employees participated in a doa mahfil. The event took place at the Rail Bhaban conference room, as stated in an official handout.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, senior officials from the railway ministry and Bangladesh Railway attended the function. During the program, Begum Khaleda Zia's notable career, leadership qualities, and various aspects of her political activities were discussed and highlighted.

Railway Secretary M Fahimul Islam, who presided over the event, emphasized Begum Khaleda Zia's contributions to the flourishing of democracy and economic development in the country. The event concluded with doa and munajat, seeking eternal peace for her departed soul.
