Munshiganj: Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society registered their third win in the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) by defeating Arambagh Krira Sangha with a scoreline of 3-0 at the Birshrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the match saw Gambian midfielder Solomon King put Rahmatganj ahead in the 37th minute with a goal from a spot kick. Nepalese defender Abhishek Limbu doubled the lead by scoring the second goal for Rahmatganj in the 42nd minute.
After halftime, Gambian forward Adama Jammeh sealed the victory by adding the third goal for Rahmatganj in the 68th minute. This victory propelled the traditional Old Dhaka outfit to second position in the league table with ten points from five matches, while Arambagh remained at the bottom with just one point from the same number of matches.
Rahmatganj is set to play their next match against Fortis Football Club, while Arambagh Krira Sangha will face Brothers Union Club on December 12.
