Lalmonirhat: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized 298 bottles of phensedyl-like ESKuf syrup and arrested an alleged drug dealer from Ratipur Fatangtari village under Sadar police station of Lalmonirhat district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a joint team of the RAB-13 from Rangpur and RAB-3 from Dhaka conducted a raid and seized the contraband drugs, arresting the man from the spot at 2 am. This information was detailed in a press release signed by RAB-13’s Senior Assistant Director (Media) and Additional Superintendent of Police Biplab Kumar Goswami.
The arrestee has been identified as Md Mokshed, 52, son of the late Abed Ali from Ratipur Fatangtari village under Sadar police station of Lalmonirhat district. Following the arrest, a case was filed, and the elite force handed over the arrested individual and seized drugs to Sadar police station of Lalmonirhat for further legal action.
