Dhaka: The official Facebook page of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Forces has undergone a change, as announced in an urgent notice. The notice, released today, highlights the need for this transition due to unavoidable security reasons and an official decision.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the previous Facebook page, named Rapid Action Battalion-RAB Online Media Cell with the URL https://facebook.com/rabforcesofficial, has been permanently shut down. Going forward, all operational activities, awareness campaigns, and information dissemination of the RAB Forces will be conducted through a new official Facebook page. The details of the new page are as follows: Page name – Rapid Action Battalion-RAB, URL -https://www.facebook.com/RABHQ.
In light of this change, all citizens and media members are advised that RAB no longer has any affiliation with the previous page. To avoid confusion and to ensure the receipt of accurate and timely information, everyone is encouraged to follow the new page.
