Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged assailant from city’s Mohammadpur area early today in connection with resorting to attack on the student-people during the mass-uprising.
A team of the elite anti-crime force apprehended Kamruzzaman Sujan, 46, as he was accused in a case of killing Shahinur after unleashing attack on a protest rally during student-led movement at Lalbagh here on August 4, said an official release.
The arrestee was later handed over to the police.
