Chittagong: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-7) today arrested Mobarak Hossain alias Mawla, a fugitive convict in a murder case, from the city’s Double Mooring area. Mobarak, a resident of Madhyam Mathiara village under Feni Sadar police station, had been on the run for nearly two decades.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mobarak was sentenced to three years of rigorous imprisonment and fined Tk 2,000 in a murder case 19 years ago. Following his arrest, he was handed over to the Feni Sadar Model Police Station.
