Mymensingh: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today arrested 14 brokers, including a woman, from Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. A team from RAB-14 executed a drive targeting brokers involved in regularly deceiving patients, apprehending them from 10 am to 2 pm, as stated by RAB sources.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the operation was conducted by the RAB team in plain clothes across various units of the hospital, leading to the capture of the brokers. The team also seized 14 mobile phone sets from the individuals in question.
Subsequently, Shafiqul Islam, the district’s executive magistrate, imposed different terms of imprisonment on those arrested.
