Dhaka:Dhaka University has temporarily suspended Professor Zeenat Huda from the Department of Sociology on charges related to her stance against students during the July Uprising.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision to suspend Professor Huda was made during the latest meeting of the DU syndicate, the university's highest executive body.
Professor Mohammed Almujaddade Alfasane, the DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin), confirmed that the suspension was based on the recommendations of an inquiry committee investigating her role against the students during the uprising.
