Dinajpur: The prize distribution of the annual sports competition and a parents’ gathering, held on the occasion of the Festival of Youth, took place at the Municipal High School ground here today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the festival carried the slogan “Sports make a healthy body and a beautiful mind.” District secondary education officer Md. Mirazul Islam attended the event as the chief guest and distributed prizes to the winners. The event was presided over by the principal of the school, Md. Nezamul Islam.
Various types of games were organized on the school grounds, with active participation from the students. Senior teacher Md. Aktarul Islam Ranga, along with assistant teachers Md. Rabiul Islam, Md. Rashidul Hasan, Surbana Das, and other school officials, conducted the sports program.
