Dhaka: The government has announced the resumption of the government primary school scholarship examination, marking a significant development after a lengthy hiatus. The scholarship exam will be conducted separately following the annual examination in December, as outlined in a notice issued today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the tentative dates for the 2025 scholarship examination are December 21, 22, 23, and 24. Students will be tested in four subjects: Bengali, English, Primary Mathematics, and a combined exam for Bangladesh and Global Studies and Primary Science. Each subject will have a total of 100 marks, with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes allocated for completion.
The notification also specifies the types of institutions participating in the scholarship examination, which include government primary schools, PTI adjacent checking schools, and primary schools adjacent to government secondary schools. Participation in the exam is mandatory for students attending government primary schools and PTI adjacent checking schools.
