President Paudel observes Seto Machhindranath Chariot

Kathmandu, April 16: President Ramchandra Paudel reached Ason this evening and paid obeisance to Seto Machhindranath. The President also received Tika and Prasad from the priest at the Chariot of Seto Machhindranath, that reached Ason from Tindhara Pathshala. The chariot procession of deity Seto Machhindranath started from Tindhara Pathshala premises on Tuesday afternoon and reached Asan in the evening. The chariot procession of Seto Machhindranath takes place every year starting on the day of Chaitra Shukla Ashtami in the lunar calendar, praying and wishing for rain and good times ahead.
