President Abdul Hamid on Thursday called upon politicians and public representatives to maintain good relations with the people.
He made th call during an exchange of views with the public representatives of Itna upazila of Kishoreganj and the distinguished people, officials and professions.
President Hamid thanked the people of the area for repeatedly electing him as a member of parliament and said that he has worked for the development of Haor area all his life for the benefit of the people, anf not for his personal interest.
Parliament members Afzal Hossain and Rezwan Ahmad Taufiq also spoke at the meeting.
Earlier, President Hamid visited various development prjects of Mithamain and Itna upazilas.
