President Accepts Resignation of Anti-Corruption Commission Leadership

Dhaka: President Mohammed Shahabuddin has accepted the resignation letters of the chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Mohammad Abdul Momen, along with its two commissioners.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a gazette notification was issued by the Cabinet Division, confirming the resignation of the ACC leadership. The commissioners who resigned were Miah Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi and Brigadier General (retd) Hafiz Ahsan Farid.



The notification detailed that the resignations of the ACC Chairman and the two commissioners were tendered under sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2004.
