Dhaka: Posts and Telecommunications Division and Bangladesh Employees’ Welfare Board have appointed new secretaries. The ministry of public administration issued two separate gazette notifications to this effect yesterday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Abdun Naser Khan, who was serving as the additional secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, has been appointed as the secretary of the Posts and Telecommunications Division.
In another notification, Taslima Kaniz, the director general of the department of printing and publications, who also holds the position of additional secretary, has been appointed as the director general (Secretary) of the Bangladesh Employees’ Welfare Board.
Additionally, the government has made Mehedy Hasan, an additional secretary attached to the ministry of public administration, an Officer on Special Duty (OSD), as per a separate notification issued today.
