Gonoktuli Colony: Police in a drive arrested two active members of a Teen gang from the city’s Gonoktuli Colony area last night. The arrested were identified as Sumit Dash, 22, and Taibur Rahman Ranit, 22, according to police sources.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a team of police from Hazaribagh Thana, acting on a tip-off, conducted a drive in the area and arrested the duo around 11.30pm. The police operation was initiated following intelligence reports about the gang’s activities in the locality.
Different cases were pending against the arrested individuals in Hazaribagh Thana, reflecting their alleged involvement in various criminal activities. The police have not disclosed the specifics of the charges but have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
