Dhaka: Police of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 34 people in a special drive conducted in Mirpur Model Police Station area of the capital yesterday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a press release from DMP media and public relations division issued today stated that necessary legal procedures against the arrestees are underway.
The press release provided a list of the arrested individuals, which includes Md Shah Jalal (37), Md Rubel (24), Md Riaz Ahmed (25), Abid Ahsan (41), Md Humayun Ahmed Rana (21), Ujjal Madhu (25), Md Rafi Anan (19), Md Rubel (35), Humayun Kabir (26), Masud Rana (30), Joy Ahmed (21), Sumon (42), Md Mamun (28), Md Swapan (32), Akash (26), Abrar Rafi (20), Mosammat Asma Begum (35), Md Jahangir (40), Md Ashikur Rahman Biplob (28), Md Mostafa Al-Amin (26), Md Raihan (19), Md Solaiman (22), Md Abdur Rouf Sheikh (19), Md Rakib (24), Md Shaheen (22), Md Musa (25), Md Zahid Hasan (20), Md Sharuk Hossain (24), Md Hasnain (33), Md Aktar (20), Md Komor Uddin Rafi (21), Md Rashedul Haque Robin (26), Md Maksudul Hasan alias Hridoy (23), and Rabiul Hasan Himu.
The DMP emphasized that law enforcement agencies will continue such special drives across the capital to bring crime under control.
