Dhaka: Members of law enforcement agencies, particularly the police, arrested 28 suspected criminals during a special operation in the capital's Jatrabari area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, police from Jatrabari Police Station conducted the operation in various crime-prone areas on Wednesday and arrested the suspects, as stated in a press release issued today. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed that the arrestees were produced before a court.
The individuals taken into custody include Rishat Laskar (27), Md Alamin Sharif (42), Md Rinku, Md Russell, Md Nayan Mia (29), Md Faisal Ahmed (27), Md Aman Ullah (42), Md Sohag (28), Md Riaz (27), Khairul (26), Md Shahin Hossain (20), Md Faisal Hossain (22), Md Rabbi (30), Md Jahangir alias Bulu (35), Md Farooq (19), Md Rahul (19), Md Shaheen (19), Md Roman (20), Md Ratul (19), and Md Shanto (19).
