Dhaka: A total of 1,567 offenders and warrant accused have been arrested in the capital and across the country in the last 24 hours as part of ongoing special police operations. Among the arrestees, 1,123 individuals were wanted in connection with previous cases and warrants, while 444 others faced arrest due to various criminal charges. This information was revealed by Police Headquarter AIG (Media and PR) Enamul Haque Sagar.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the police conducted simultaneous operations across the nation, leading to the arrests. During these operations, law enforcement agents recovered three different types of arms, including one revolver, one local gun (LG), and one shooter gun. Additionally, 13 rounds of bullets and other criminal accessories were seized by the police.
