PM Holds Special Meeting on Fuel Situation

Dhaka: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today held a special meeting on ‘measures to address the fuel situation’ in the country: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman himself chaired the meeting at his Cabinet Division office in the Bangladesh Secretariat here this morning, said sources at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the special meeting was convened to discuss strategies and measures to tackle the current challenges facing the fuel sector. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for immediate solutions and coordinated efforts from all relevant ministries and stakeholders to ensure a stable fuel supply across the nation.



Key officials from various ministries and departments participated in the meeting, contributing insights and proposals to address the issue effectively. The discussions highlighted the importance of both short-term and long-term strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the fuel supply chain.



The Prime Minister urged all parties involved to work collaboratively and prioritize the nation’s needs. The meeting concluded with directives to implement actionable solutions promptly, aiming to stabilize the fuel situation and prevent any adverse impact on the country’s economy and daily life.
