Dhaka: Education and Planning Adviser Professor Wahiduddin Mahmud today handed over the report of a taskforce on “Re-strategising the Economy and Mobilising Resources for Equitable and Sustainable Development” to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus. The handover took place at the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO) in Tejgaon, according to Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the 12-member taskforce was formed on September 10 with the aim of reframing development strategies, identifying leakages in the financial system, and restoring discipline in project implementation. The report is expected to provide a comprehensive framework for achieving equitable and sustainable economic development in the country.
