Chattogram: The pass rate percentage decreased in this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under the Chattogram education board. Meanwhile, the number of students achieving GPA-5 (Grade Point Average) has increased in the results of the SSC examination this year.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the pass percentage is 72.07 this year, down from the previous year's 82.80 percent. A total of 11,843 students secured GPA-5 compared to 10,823 last year. The pass rate declined by 10.73 percentage points compared to the previous year.
Out of a total of 140,388 examinees from 1,125 high schools, 101,181 passed the examinations held in April-May this year.
