Parwar for Holding Election in “Legitimate” Time After Necessary Reforms.

Dhaka: Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Prof. Mia Golam Parwar today emphasized the necessity for the upcoming general election to occur in a legitimate time frame, following essential reforms. "Fascism has been ended and the mass people of the country achieved their independence following the anti-discrimination student's movement... Now we expect a free, fair and credible election within a legitimate time," Parwar stated. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Parwar highlighted that the necessary reforms should include changes in the Civil and Police administration, Election Commission, and the Bureaucracy, as anticipated by the citizens. This call for reform reflects the expectations of the populace for a transparent electoral process. Parwar, who is a former member of parliament, made these remarks while addressing a party Workers Conference of Manikganj District at the Manikganj Government High School Play Ground, where he served as the chief guest. The event was presided over by Jam aat-e-Islami Central Maslish-e Shura member and Manikganj District Ameer Hafez Maulana Md. Quamrul Islam. The conference also saw addresses from Central Executive Committee member Muhammad Izzat Ullah, team member Maulana Muhammad Delwar Hossain, former Central Committee President Md. Zahidur Rahman, and other local leaders.
