Dhaka: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Syed Ahmed Maroof, visited the central office of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in the Moghbazar area of the city. During his visit on Tuesday afternoon, he met with the Ameer of the party, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting involved an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest concerning Bangladesh and Pakistan. Both parties expressed optimism about the continuing strength of fraternal relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by several notable figures, including Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner Muhammad Wasif, Political Counselor Kamran Dhangal, as well as Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer Prof. Mujibur Rahman, Dr. Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher, Maulana A.N.M. Shamsul Islam, Jamaat Secretary General Prof. Mia Golam Parwar, and Assistant Secretary General Maulana A.T.M. Masum.
