Dhaka: A total of 6,00,660 students have failed in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under the nine general education boards, Madrasah, and Technical Education Boards. Professor Dr. Khondoker Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, disclosed the information at a press briefing held at the Dhaka Education Board conference room this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, of the total number of failed candidates, 3,24,716 are male students while 2,75,944 are female. The results reflect a significant number of students who did not succeed in passing the examinations this year. The announcement was made to inform the public and relevant stakeholders about the performance of students across various boards in the country.
