Dhaka: The online general diary (GD) services will be available for the public in all the police stations across the country with the launch of the services in all the Railway Police Stations from tomorrow.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, online GD services will be initiated in all 24 Railway Police Stations across six districts starting tomorrow. This launch will ensure that all types of online GD services are accessible in every police station nationwide. The Bangladesh Police, following directives from the Chief Adviser, has introduced this facility to allow citizens to complete all types of GD online from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need for physical visits to police stations.

The Police Headquarters affirmed that the introduction of online GD services is part of Bangladesh Police’s commitment to delivering police services to the public in the most efficient and convenient manner. To access the online GD service, individuals can download the ‘Online GD’ app from the Google Play Store and complete a one-time registration. The process does not require multiple registrations.

For those experiencing difficulties with registration or completing an online GD, assistance is available through a dedicated hotline at 01320001428, which operates 24/7.
