One more case was filed today against former
Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder and 73 others with Naogaon Court over
vote rigging in the municipality election in 2015.
The other prime accused of the case are former state minister for Planning
Shahiduzzaman Sarker and former local lawmaker Nizam Uddin Jalil.
Abul Kalam Azad, an inhabitant of the town, filed the case against them as
the plaintiff.
Apart from this, 70 other unidentified people were also included in the case
as accused.
The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate in Naogaon Md Imtiazul Islam ordered
to include the case with Sadar Thana and investigate it, said plaintiff
Advocate Minhajul Islam.
