Sirajganj: A man lost his life and six others sustained injuries in a road accident in the Baghabari area under Shahjadpur upazila. The incident occurred when a bus collided with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and a rickshaw van.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased has been identified as Bahadur, aged 45, son of the late Gani Prang from Potajia village in the upazila. The collision resulted in Bahadur, the driver of the rickshaw van, dying on the spot while six others were injured in the mishap.
Hatikumrul Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdur Rouf reported that the accident took place in the afternoon. The injured individuals were promptly taken to Shahjadpur Upazila Health Complex to receive medical treatment following the accident.
