Chattogram: A man lost his life and another sustained injuries in a road accident in the Bainnyapukur area on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway this evening. The incident involved a collision between a passenger bus and a motorcycle.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Iqbal Shikdar, son of Sabuj Shikdar from Sokhipur upazila in Tangail. The collision resulted in Iqbal, who was riding the motorcycle, being killed instantly, while his co-rider Jabed Mia, aged 30, was injured.
Jabed Mia was promptly taken to BGC Trust Medical College Hospital for treatment. The police have seized the bus involved in the incident as part of their investigation.
