Bogura: A man lost his life in a road accident in the Teligari area on the Bogura-Naogaon Highway in Dupchachiya upazila. The incident occurred last night.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased was identified as Rafiqul Islam, 45, son of the late Riaz Uddin Pramanik of Hatt Sazapur area of Dupchachia. The accident took place when a private car collided with an auto-van, resulting in the death of van driver Rafiqul on the spot.
Following the accident, police seized the private car involved in the collision. However, the driver of the vehicle managed to flee the scene. Authorities have filed a case regarding the incident.
