Mymensingh: A person was killed and 19 others were injured in a bus accident in front of Gasline Filling Station of China Circle of the town today. The deceased was identified as Md Manjurul Hasan, 41, who was the helper of the bus.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred when the driver of the bus lost control over the steering and hit a road divider in the area, resulting in the immediate death of Manjurul and injuries to 19 other passengers. Police promptly arrived at the scene to rescue the injured individuals and transported them to a local hospital for treatment.
Seven of the injured have been admitted to different wards of the hospital due to their critical conditions. Despite the severity of the accident, the driver of the bus managed to flee the scene, leaving authorities to take legal action in response to the incident.
