Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with two kilograms of hemp from
Chapainawabganj municipality area on Sunday evening.
The arrested was Md. Rabiul Islam, 28, of Puraton Bazar
Swarnopatti in the municipality area.
RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of the RAB-5
conducted a raid in Pashchim Pathanpara area of the town around 6.30 pm and arrested Rabiul with the hemp.
Later, the elite force handed him over to the police of Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana, the sources added.
