The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man from the Chikdair area under Raozan Upazila on charges of involvement in subversive activities.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrestee has been identified as Md Nasir, 45, a resident of Chunatipara area in the upazila. Acting on a tip-off, a RAB team conducted a drive in the area and arrested Nasir on Wednesday night, as mentioned in a press release issued today.
Chattogram Senior Assistant Director (Media) ARM Mozaffar Hossain stated that the accused has been handed over to Raozan Police Station for subsequent legal proceedings.
