Nilphamari: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested a suspected drug peddler along with large quantities of phensedyl and Yaba tablets from Sadar upazila of Nilphamari district today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the seized items include 123 bottles of phensedyl syrup and 205 pieces of Yaba tablets. An operational team from RAB-13’s Crime Prevention Company-2, based in Nilphamari Camp, conducted the raid based on a tip-off. The operation took place in the village of Paschim Kuchiamour under Sadar police station of Nilphamari district at 1:10 pm.
The arrested individual has been identified as Md Soleman Ali, 48, son of Eslam Uddin of the same Paschim Kuchiamour village. Following the arrest, a case was filed, and the seized drugs along with the detainee were handed over to Sadar police station of Nilphamari district.
