One Arrested with Foreign-Made Pistol in Magura

Magura: Joint force early today arrested a man along with a foreign-made pistol and ammunition in Magura. Acting on a tip-off, members of the joint force raided a house in Tatipara village under Magura municipality and arrested Rohan Rashid Durud, son of Harunar Rashid, from his residence.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the operation, they recovered a 9mm foreign-made pistol, three rounds of ammunition, and a magazine from his possession. Officer-in-Charge of Magura Sadar Police Station Ashikur Rahman confirmed the arrest and said the operation was carried out as part of ongoing drives, including “Devil Hunt,” to recover illegal firearms and maintain law and order.



A case has been filed against the arrested man under the Arms Act with Magura Sadar Police Station.
