A fire broke out in a multistoried building in the capital’s Islampur area on Monday.
The fire broke out at Royal Tower around 2:10 pm and spread soon, said Md Shahjahan Shikdar, Deputy assistant director (media cell) of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
On information, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control around 2:40 pm.
