“Nyaykunja” Inaugurated for Trial Seekers at Tangail Court

Tangail: A modern rest house named ‘Nyaykunja’ has been inaugurated on the premises of the Tangail District and Sessions Judge Court for the justice seekers. Justice Md Akram Hossain Chowdhury of the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court inaugurated the plaque and cut the ribbon to formally inaugurate the facilities on Saturday morning.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the newly-built Nyaykunja features a mini confectionery, separate toilets for men and women, a breastfeeding corner, a canteen, and sufficient seating arrangements for visitors. During the inauguration, Justice Akram Hossain Chowdhury asked the concerned authorities to ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility. He emphasized giving priority to female litigants in using the rest house and accessing washroom facilities.



Tangail District and Sessions Judge Md Hafizur Rahman, Judge of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Md Kawser Ahmed, Chief Judicial Magistrate Md Kamruzzaman, President of the District Bar Association Md Zahur Azhar Khan, its General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Ratan, Public Prosecutor of the District Judge Court Shafiqul Islam Ripon and other judges and lawyers were present during the inauguration.
