Dhaka: Students from 134 schools and madrasahs under eight education boards out of 11 boards failed to come out successful in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations. This information was revealed in the SSC and equivalent examination results published at 2 pm today, Thursday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of 1,904,086 students appeared in the examinations under the country’s 9 General Education Boards, Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, and Bangladesh Technical Education Board. Among them, 1,303,426 students passed, and 139,032 students obtained GPA 5.
This year’s SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 10 and ended on May 13. The results highlight the challenges faced by some educational institutions as they strive to improve student performance in future examinations.
