Newly Formed Cabinet’s First Meeting Scheduled for Tomorrow

Dhaka: The first meeting of the newly formed cabinet is set to commence at 3:00pm tomorrow, with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman slated to preside over the session at the Bangladesh Secretariat.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will begin his first working day with a special meeting alongside cabinet members and engage in an exchange of views with secretaries. Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP media cell, confirmed that Rahman is scheduled to honor the National Memorial with a wreath at 10:00am on Wednesday. Following this, he is expected to return to the Secretariat to assume office at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Cabinet Division by around 12:30pm.



At the Secretariat, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will conduct an introductory session and exchange views with officials from the Cabinet Division. Post-meeting, he is expected to have lunch at the Secretariat before leading the special cabinet meeting at 3:00pm. Earlier today, Tarique Rahman, along with 25 ministers and 24 state ministers, took their oaths at the South Plaza of the Parliament Building.
