Accra:An official notification announced that the newly introduced national pay structure for public servants will not affect the current rates of their allowances until a new government order is issued.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the finance ministry stated that government employees will continue to receive allowances at the previous rates. The baseline date for the final day of the previous salary structure is June 30, 2026.
The notification from the ministry's finance division specified that this applies to employees across various ministries, divisions, government offices, departments, agencies, state-owned enterprises, and autonomous institutions.
