New Leadership for Rashtra Sangskar Chhatra Andolon Announced

Dhaka: Lamia Islam and Solaiman Talukder have been appointed as president and general secretary, respectively, of the newly formed 30-member central committee of Rashtra Sangskar Chhatra Andolon. The announcement was made by the organization's chief adviser, Hasnat Qayyum, at the temporary office located in Meherba Plaza in Dhaka.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the committee includes Senior Vice-President Arafat Sheikh, Vice-President Rakib Hasan Majumder, Joint General Secretary Mubarak Hossain, and multiple other secretaries responsible for various portfolios such as health affairs, finance, information and technology, and media and publicity. The committee also comprises several executive members tasked with supporting the organization's initiatives.

Hasnat Qayyum administered the oath to the new leadership while presenting the organization's 8-point demands, which include the formation of an education commission, job-oriented education, and regular student union elections. Newly elected president Lamia Islam emphasized the need for quality education and responsible politics among students.

The event was attended by key members of the organization, including advisory council members and representatives from other student and cultural groups. The gathering highlighted the organization's commitment to guiding responsible politics and addressing educational challenges in the country.
