New DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Takes Charge

Dhaka: Newly appointed Commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mosleh Uddin Ahmed today took charge as the head of the capital’s police force. An officer of the 15th batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS), Mosleh Uddin was appointed DMP Commissioner following the retirement of acting commissioner Mohammad Sarwar.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, prior to his new assignment, Mosleh Uddin served as Additional Inspector General (Addl. IG) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Recently, Mosleh Uddin was also elected president of the Bangladesh Police Service (BCS) Association for the next two years.
