New Committee Formed to Revitalize Activities of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services

Dhaka: A new 10-member supporting committee has been formed to reactivate the activities of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS). The committee was constituted on Monday night under the Trade Organization Act by Abul Khair Mohammad Hafizullah Khan, Joint Secretary of the Administrator and Local Government Division.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the team includes Md. Rawshan Kamal from the previous committee, alongside new members from leading IT firms. The members of the committee are Mushfiqur Rahman of Spectrum Software and Consulting (Pvt) Limited, Mustafa Rafiqul Islam of Flora Telecom, Belal Ahmed of Synergy Interface Ltd, Rashed Kamal of Databiz Software Ltd, AHM Rokmunur Zaman Roni of HRsoftBD, Muhammad Abdul Majid of Bangla Puzzle Limited, Md. Jewel of Bangla Puzzle Limited, Ferdous Alam of Atova Technology, and Syed Zahid Hossain of Meet Xpert.



This formation follows months of inactivity after the previous committee’s dissolution in May. BASIS members expressed optimism that the new committee will foster a business-friendly environment and restore momentum to the organization’s initiatives.
