Dhaka: International Master Manon Reja Neer shared the second place along with two other players, securing 2.5 points after the fourth round of the Farago Ivan Memorial 2026 Grandmasters Chess Tournament now being held in Budapest, Hungary.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, in the fourth-round game held on Tuesday, IM Neer drew with Hungarian International Master Bence Pribelszky. This draw added to Neer's consistent performance in the tournament, where he has already showcased strategic prowess against formidable opponents.
Earlier in the tournament, during the third round, Neer also managed to share a point with United States International Master Sethuraman Sandeep. Both matches reflect Neer's strong performance and resilience, positioning him as a significant contender in the ongoing chess competition.
