Dhaka: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has announced a new initiative aimed at enhancing trade facilitation through regular communication with business stakeholders. Beginning on the second Wednesday of each month, the NBR will hold a view-exchange session where business representatives can directly present issues related to Customs, Income Tax, and VAT to the NBR Chairman and Members.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this monthly event will allow the NBR to gain a clear understanding of the various challenges faced by businesses at the field level and implement effective solutions. The initiative underscores the NBR's commitment to addressing the concerns of the business community proactively.
The inaugural meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM, and will take place in the Multipurpose Hall Room (Room No. 301) of the NBR. Business representatives interested in participating are requested to complete and submit a Google Form provided by the NBR.
