Dhaka: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for income tax returns submission for all taxpayers, excluding companies, in both offline and online formats, until February 16, 2025. This development comes as taxpayers were initially required to submit their income tax returns for the 2024-2025 fiscal year by January 31.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the revenue authority issued an order extending the deadline for the submission of income tax returns for both online e-return and offline filing of paper returns. The extension applies to all taxpayers except companies, whose original deadline was set for February 15.
In a separate order, the NBR has also extended the tax return submission deadline for companies by one month, moving it to March 16.
