Dhaka: Mohammad Nazmul Alam, who previously served as a joint secretary and divisional head at the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), has been appointed the new director general (DG) of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
According to United News of Bangladesh, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding Alam's appointment on Sunday night. The notification confirmed that Alam, a joint secretary-rank officer, has been transferred and posted to the ACC as director general on deputation.
In related developments, ACC Director General (Prevention) Md Mokammel Haque has been reassigned to the Health Services Division. These changes, issued in the public interest, are to be implemented with immediate effect.
