Dhaka: Bangladesh Navy will open its ships at various locations across the country for visitors to mark Independence Day and National Day on March 26.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, seven ships will be displayed for public viewing at specific locations. BNS Chithra will be stationed at Dhaka Sadarghat, while BNS Atandra will be at Pagla Naval Jetty in Narayanganj. BNS Samuddra Obhijan will be open at Naval Berth-2, New Mooring in Chattogram, and BNS Oparejyo will be available at the BIWTA Launch Terminal in Khulna. Additionally, BNS Dholeshwari can be visited at Digraj Naval Berth of Mongla, BNS Padma at Marine Workshop Jetty in Barishal, and BNS Shaheed Farid will be at BIWTA Ghat in Chandpur.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore these naval ships from 12 noon to 4 pm on Independence Day, as announced in an ISPR press release.
