Dhaka: Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Police emerged champions in the men’s and women’s sections respectively in the final round of the National Volleyball competition held at Shaheed Noor Hossain National Volleyball Stadium in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, in the men’s section final, Bangladesh Navy defeated Power Development Board by 3-1 sets. In the women’s section final, Bangladesh Police overpowered Bangladesh Ansar and VDP by 3-0 sets.
Additionally, Bangladesh Air Force and Rajshahi district secured third place in the men’s and women’s sections respectively in the place-deciding matches held at the same venue.
Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) president Farque Khan was the chief guest at the finals and distributed the prizes. BVF general secretary Bimal Ghosh Bhulu presided over the prize distribution ceremony.
